Lots of inspiration for my understand of magical schools comes from magic The Gathering, which has many interesting concepts related to many of the schools of magic you mentioned. Abjuration in particular is a very important one in many of the various planes of the fabric of existence in Magic The Gathering, with Ferozs' Ban being an excellent example.<br />I have always loved the concept of counterspells, and this is also explored in magic with the stack, a method of resolving spells in order, and additionally I have always loved Gandalf in the hobbit for his many subtle spells, and his enemies counterspell during his attempt to close the door against the Balrog in the fellowship, during the escape from Moria.Becami Cusackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07217505009455196473noreply@blogger.com
